Visiting Us

We are grateful you are considering a visit to our congregation. It is
our hope that it will better acquaint you with who we are and what you can
expect should you choose to visit us in person. We understand that visiting
a new church can be a little uneasy. Let us help make you more
comfortable with a few details so that you can focus on worshiping God
when you come to worship as our guest.

We hope you can stay a few minutes following the service to enjoy some
fellowship and get to know each other better. Light snacks and coffee will
be served.

Music

We primarily sing historic hymns along with selected modern hymns. We
endeavor for our music to be thematic that will correspond with the sermon
text. A keyboard is currently used for accompaniment.

Worship

Our worship is a formal, serious yet joyful encounter with our great God
and Savior. It is our goal to be Christ-centered abounding in Scripture. Our
worship is a dialogue. God summons us to Himself and speaks to us from
his Word and we respond with praise and prayer. The order of our worship
service is printed in our worship folder. We encourage you to join us, and
our prayer is that you will be strengthened in your walk with Christ and will
be blessed to see and hear about God’s unfailing grace.

Children

Children of all ages are always welcome in the worship service. Currently
there is no nursery care available; however, there is a room available for parents if a
child needs special attention.

Dress

You will find all manner of dress in our church from blue jeans to business
casual. Dress how you feel comfortable so you can focus on worshiping God.
Remember God is concerned with your heart, not with your style or
fashion sense!
